Mom has been going to Illinois every year for the past 3 years to see her parents with one of us kids, this time it was my turn to go. On Thursday Mom and I left for Illinois to see my grandparents. We arrived there at noon and Aunt Elizabeth and cousin Justice did not arrive till later in the day due to a layover in Chicago.  After we picked them up that evening at the airport we had dinner at Red Lobster. Grandpa and Grandma are great hosts and made us feel so special and cooked us great meals. Grandpa and Grandma’s birthdays are few days apart, the last time Mom and Aunt Elizabeth visited at Grandma’s birthday, this time they were there for Grandpa’s. We had a great time with them and I hope they enjoyed the time with us as much as we did. Love you Grandpa and Grandma

Photo-shoot/Pa's Birthday

I love taking pictures and Aunt Jennifer asked me to take pictures of Patrick before he got his braces on. Patrick is my fun and handsome cousin, who has a great smile.Patrick was the perfect model and I was so happy to take pictures for them. Thanks Aunt Jennifer and Patrick for letting me take pictures.

This week was Pa’s Birthday he is now the BIG 50!!  Thanks Pa for all you do for us, taking us on trips, going to work for us, being the spiritual leader of our home and for marrying a lady like mom. I hope you have a great and blessed year (hope you don’t break any hips:)

Happy Birthday Pa!!

Rambling Thoughts

The title says it all....we have been fairly busy. This past week my Mom had a birthday. My Mom is  amazing, she is beautiful, the best cook ever, she has a very corny sense of humor and I think the world of her.

We also had a Keepers meeting at Aunt Jody’s house and we learned about colors. She taught us about the rainbow, we painted and also learned about water coloring.

I am really getting into photography, so whenever I can get my brother and sister outside to take pics. I bribe them to smile and stay still, then some times I will get five photos out of a hundred.

My Uncle told us about “The Spirit of America” a free concert at the Giant center. So we went for a field trip I learned a lot about the history of our country, if there is one in your town you should go.
